This is a new potential area we recently found. We found this while hiking around a popular climbing area and the terrain had DH written all over it. Techy, rocky, rooty, exposed…this area has potential. We will keep this area updated once we actually bring the bikes out.
∴ From Fairbanks, head North on the Steese Hwy.
∴ Continue straight on to the Elliott Hwy once it splits from the Steese in Fox.
∴ Keep an eye out for a small maybe 10 ft bridge with a wooden sign for Globe Creek.
∴ Look for Mile 39 right after Globe Creek.
∴ Look for a guardrail on your right and a dirt turn off that immediately follows it.
∴ Turn onto the dirt turn off and follow it down behind the guard rail to the parking area.
∴ There will be an old wooden sign and the trail immediately follows it.
This trail is actually to approach trail for local rock climbing so please give hikers/climbers the right-of-way.
